Very early, in 1980, Mr. B.P. Buys owned a pastry factory in Oudenbosch, where 30 different cakes were baked. In the year 1920, Mr. B.P. Buys came up with a good idea, which people all over the world still love today. He made the first waffle with sweet egg white foam in a chocolate coating. From that day on, choco kisses were made by hand every day in his factory.

The choco kiss was a huge success and soon the choco kisses were in great demand. That is why Mr. Buys bought a machine in 1957 to produce the choco kisses automatically. From that moment on, everyone all over the world could enjoy these delicious choco kisses.

The Buys factory in Oudenbosch was sold to Mr. Van der Breggen in March 2003, located in Tilburg. Nowadays, the Buys choco kisses are produced in Grabow (Germany) and the Buys choco kisses are still immensely popular among young and old!
